The 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing band performed at a morning colors ceremony aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., June 30 to help celebrate the 2nd MAW’s proud history.

The band played the National Anthem during the raising of the colors. 2nd MAW, activated and commissioned July 10, 1941, turned 70 on Sunday. Twice a month the 2nd MAW band is invited to play at morning colors to help celebrate 2nd MAW’s proud history.
