Sgt. Destany Weatherwax prepares food in the mess hall before the Chef of the Quarter competition aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, Dec. 8, 2016. Weatherwax prepared the winning meal, which included the main course of an apple-glazed corned beef with roasted potatoes and carrots. Marines participating in the competition were given the opportunity to display their creativity and skills in the culinary arts.
