The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) has teamed up with the Single Marine Program (SMP) to rally car lovers for the Autocross racing event at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, June 12-13, 2021. The SCCA and SMP hold the event up to five weekends a year in order to allow service members and automobile enthusiasts to drive their vehicles to the limit in a safe environment. The Single Marine Program and the Sports Car Club of America hosted an autocross event on Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point (MCAS), North Carolina, Sept. 21-22, 2019. Autocross is a car controlled event where the winner is based off of the fastest time of the day.
