We Devil Dog Dare you. … To come and have some fun at the Devil Dog Dare at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina. The course offers seven different stimulating events which include a rope course, rappelling, rock climbing, mountain biking, zip-lining and a 65-foot free fall drop zone for free to active duty service members. The paintball course is open to all Department of Defense employees. Service members and their families gathered for the Easter Eggstravaganza event at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., March 24, 2018. The event featured Easter egg hunts, inflatable bounce houses, an obstacle course, food trucks, the Easter Bunny and more. The Eggstravaganza allowed service members and their families to enjoy a free day of fun on the air station. Approximately 2,000 to 3,000 people attended this year’s Easter Eggstravaganza.

Marines assigned to Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 2 participate in a semiannual operational pause at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Sept. 22, 2017. For an engaging and interactive experience, the Marines combined learning and physical fitness; ditching the normal classroom routine. The Exceptional Family Member Program hosted Making Waves, a pool event for families that have children with special medical or educational needs aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Feb. 3, 2017. Making Waves gave families the opportunity to let loose and have a fun day at the pool. Activities included a ring toss, rafting, floating lessons and a family free swim. Marine Aircraft Group 26 held their first Kids Corps event to give the kids of MAG-26 an opportunity to see what their parents do, in the Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 162 hangar aboard Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., June 4, 2016. Kids were split-up into squads and were afforded the opportunity to compete against each other in a modified Combat Fitness Test, the bouncy house obstacle course and witness an MV-22 Osprey fly.
