Douglas Stephens, Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point Commanding Officer kickoff the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) Active Duty Fund Drive beginning 1 March, 2020. The NMCRS is able to provide a variety of services and programs all thanks to those who are able to contribute. These programs and services are provided to assist Marines, Sailors and their families if they were to encounter a personal or family financial crisis. Contributing to the Active Duty Fund Drive is an excellent way to help take care of those to your left and right, as well as their families. You never know what someone else may be going through. The Active Duty Fund Drive will go from 1 March, 2020 until 15 April, 2020.

We Devil Dog Dare you. … To come and have some fun at the Devil Dog Dare at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina. The course offers seven different stimulating events which include a rope course, rappelling, rock climbing, mountain biking, zip-lining and a 65-foot free fall drop zone for free to active duty service members. The paintball course is open to all Department of Defense employees. Families gather for the 19th annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Nov. 30, 2018. Among the Christmas lights, elves and holiday spirit in the air, the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Brass Band provided live music throughout the festivities. The celebration included activities such as a Christmas themed beanbag toss, holiday selfie station, a holiday cookie making station and reindeer antler ring toss. Santa Claus even made a special appearance for the children to come and tell him their Christmas wish list. This celebration is an event hosted by Marine Corps Community Services every year to kick off the Christmas spirit by bringing families together during the holiday season.
