As we continue to highlight the Corporals Leadership Course, today we focus on the Physical Training (PT) aspect of the course. Being physically fit is an essential part of the Marine Corps, so throughout the course instructors lead the students through vigorous PT sessions aimed at teaching them how to push through both mentally and physically stressful situations. Through many long, early mornings on the PT field, the students learn skills and techniques to bring back to their units and become more effective leaders.

There are a plethora of different military occupational specialties (MOS) in the Marine Corps; different jobs and skill sets that keep the Marine Corps mission ready. Today we dive into the combat graphic specialist MOS and take you “On the Job.” -------------------------------------------- You’ve seen the end result, but have you ever wondered how much work actually goes in to making posters and infographics for the Marine Corps? Well wonder no more. In this behind the scenes video you will see some of the hard work combat graphic specialists do to tell the Marine Corps story. The combat graphic specialist MOS falls under the Communication Strategy and Operations (COMMSTRAT) occupational field along with the combat mass communicator, combat photographer and combat videographer. The mission of COMMSTRAT is to advise commanders and staffs on communication strategy matters; develop and integrate communication plans; communicate with internal, domestic, and international audiences; and produce written and visual information products in order to build understanding, credibility, and trust with audiences critical to mission success. U.S. Marines learn how to safely operate and maneuver a motorcycle during the Basic Rider Course (BRC) at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, July 29 through July 30, 2019. BRC is a requirement for all Marines looking to operate a motorcycle on or off base, emphasizing the importance of rider safety and teaching the basics of how to be safe on the road. The course is also open to spouses or Marines who may not own or operate motorcycles, but are interested in learning more about motorcycle safety.
