The Single Marine Program and the Sports Car Club of America hosted an autocross event on Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point (MCAS), North Carolina, Sept. 21-22, 2019. Autocross is a car controlled event where the winner is based off of the fastest time of the day. The SCCA and SMP join up four times a year to bring together automobile enthusiasts to drive their vehicles to the limit in a safe environment.
