On the Job: Religious Program Specialist -------------------------------------------- There are a plethora of different military occupational specialties in the Marine Corps; different jobs and skill sets that keep the Marine Corps mission ready. Today we dive into the religious program specialist MOS and take you “On the Job." Our Chaplains don’t work alone. The religious program specialists serve God and country alongside our Chaplains in support of Marines and Sailors well-being stateside, overseas and forward deployed. The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society hosted its annual banquet to recognize volunteers for their hours spent taking care of Marines and Sailors aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Feb. 9, 2017. The mission of the society is to provide financial, educational and other need-based assistance to active-duty or retired Marines and Sailors, their eligible family members, and survivors.
