U.S. Navy Electronics Technician 2nd Class Christopher Borchert with Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron 4 briefs sailors before conducting static and dynamic maritime force protection procedures in preparation for deployment, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point Navy Boat Docks, North Carolina, May 5, 2022. The exercise was intended to increase the sailors’ ability to gauge maneuvers of small enemy boats and their understanding of the enemy’s thought process. The mission of the Navy Boat Docks is to provide support to the air station, its bombing targets, and offer a training environment for Navy and Marine Corps units.
