Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine arrival

Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, received its first shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine today, Dec. 22, 2020. Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point will be following the Department of Defense’s (DOD) vaccine plan for prioritizing, distributing, and administering the vaccine through a phased approach to vaccinate all active component, reserve component, TRICARE Prime and Select beneficiaries, and select DOD civilians and contract personnel. This vaccine will help serve as a safe and effective way to help protect our personnel and maintain mission readiness. Being an authorized vaccine, this vaccination will be elective and not mandatory.
