Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point hosted a health fair at the Cherry Tree house Jan. 13.

Several local businesses and members of the air station brought in information for the event.

Rose F. Greathouse, a distributor for a healthy energy drink company, enlightened Marines about her company’s energy drinks during the fair.

“This fair was a great way for us to share our product with people who weren’t necessarily familiar with it before,” Greathouse said.

Cpl. Nicole E. Mullings, a training noncommissioned officer with Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 2 here said the fair was more than she expected.

“I liked all the free stuff,” Mullings added, “and it was a great way to get a lot of information in one place.”

Dr. Jennifer W. Orr, a physician at a local medical facility in Morehead City, said the fair was a great way to show the health options available outside the air station.

The health fair is an annual event aboard the air station.
