What’s your job?

To perform different duties during search and rescue missions, whether it’s hospital transfers, medical evacuations, or helicopter maintenance.

What’s your favorite part?

Flying! It’s a great feeling helping someone who has been hurt in an accident, and we are trained to help both civilians and military personnel.

What’s the most challenging part?

The most challenging part is working on the helicopters bcause we rely on them to provide help and to get them to a hospital as quickly as possible.

How do you support the missions of 2nd MAW and MCAS Cherry Point?

Our mission here is to provide support to MCAS Cherry Point-based aircraft as well as civilians. We also provide search and rescue capabilities and medical evacuation transportation for the civilian community.
