CLC-21 Company Commander
Major Blaise P. Greer

Major Greer completed the Platoon Leaders Course in August 2012, and commissioned in the Marine Corps in May 2013 upon graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics.  He reported to The Basic School in Quantico, Virginia, in April 2014, where he was designated an 0402 Logistics Officer and graduated with Delta Company 4-14 in November 2014.

After completing the Logistics Officer Course in April 2015, Second Lieutenant Greer was assigned to 2d Battalion, 2d Marines.  From April 2015 to December 2015 he served as the Battalion Motor Transport Officer and participated in Integrated Training Exercise 8-15, completing the Motor Transport Operations Package with his platoon.  In December 2015, First Lieutenant Greer was selected as the Battalion S-4A and deployed to Okinawa as part of the Forward Deployed Battalion-East (FDB-E), where he supported the Battalion’s training at the jungle Warfare Training Center.  Additionally, he served as the Landing Force S-4 for Exercise Combined Afloat Readiness And Training 16.1, and participated in Exercise Balikatan 16 and Exercise Fuji Viper 16-4.  First Lieutenant Greer also assisted in the preparation for a Field Supply and Maintenance Analysis Office inspection of the FDB-E account.

In August 2016 First Lieutenant Greer redeployed to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and was appointed the Maintenance Management Officer for 2d Battalion 2d Marines, during which time he supported a Battalion Deployment For Training at Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia.  In August 2017 he deployed to Romania and Norway in support of the Black Sea Rotational Force/Marine Rotational Force Europe, where he served as the lead logistics planner and exercise S-4 for Exercise Agile Spirit 2017, and was promoted to Captain in December of 2017.  Upon redeployment to Camp Lejeune in March 2018, he received orders to Marine Corps Detachment Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, which he executed in May 2018.

In June of 2018 Captain Greer reported to Marine Corps Detachment, Fort Leonard Wood, and was appointed as the Detachment Director of Support and Supply Officer.  

In September of 2019 Captain Greer deployed as an individual augment to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, in support of Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve, where he served as the CJ-4 Surface Plans and Land Operations Officer.

In March of 2020, Captain Greer redeployed to Fort Leonard Wood and was assigned to Motor Transport Instruction Company.  He was appointed as the Motor Vehicle Operator Course Platoon Commander, and Motor Transport Advanced Schools Officer in Charge; ultimately serving as the Company Executive Officer.

Major Greer reported to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point in July of 2021, where he is currently the Company Commander of Combat Logistics Company 21. 
Major Greer’s personal awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
