Service members participated in the Circuit Rider Course (CRC) at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, July 24-25 2019. The CRC is the most advanced motorcycle course offered to Marines, Sailors and their families stationed at Cherry Point. The course teaches cutting-edge riding techniques to train the participants on how to deal with real world situations while on the road. All of the techniques are taught at real world speeds, giving the students a chance to familiarize themselves with the techniques while in a controlled, safe environment. This training is intended to reduce motorcycle mishaps for service members.

Marine Corps Community Services hosted a Semper Ride event at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., June 27, 2018. The event was created to educate Marines about motorcycle safety awareness to reduce motorcycle mishaps throughout the Marine Corps. Semper Ride speakers gave safety presentations and professional motorcycle riders performed a freestyle motocross demo. Since the start of Semper Ride in 2008, the fatality rate for Marine motorcyclists has been reduced by 44 percent. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl. Cody Lemons/Released)

The 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band performed in their outstanding fall concert at the Two Rivers Theater and Events Center aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Oct. 2, 2016. The concert was open to the public and featured many unique performances. The band will continue to carry on the proud tradition of excellence in military music that has become the hallmark of the Marine Music Program.
