Marines with Marine Wing Communications Squadron 28, Marine Air Control Group 28, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing conducted their bi-annual Spartan Cup aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Jan. 20, 2017. Marines assigned to Marine Wing Communications Squadron 28 competed against one another during the squadron’s third annual Spartan Cup to bolster camaraderie and to test the Marines’ physical abilities aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., July 22, 2016. The day started with a squadron run followed by several events including: squad pull-ups, a weapons disassembly and reassembly, Humvee push, Tug-of-War, and an Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Training competition.
