A Remington Rolling Block pistol was recovered from wreckage of the USS Huron, located off the coast of North Carolina. The Naval History and Heritage Command (NHHC) Underwater Archeology (UA) Branch requested support in making the artifact safe from Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians.
