An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, extracts the propellant of a Remington Rolling Block pistol cartridge at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, May 10, 2022. The Naval History and Heritage Command (NHHC) Underwater Archeology (UA) Branch requested assistance from EOD so the round could be rendered inert, making it safe for display.
