Dec 3, 2020
U.S. Marine and civilian police officers with the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point’s Provost Marshals Office (PMO) clear a room during an active shooter training exercise at Marine Corps Outlying Field (MCOLF) Atlantic, North Carolina, Nov. 17, 2020. This type of training enables Cherry Point’s PMO to be ready to respond to a wide variety of threats that may occur on the installation. MCAS Cherry Point facilitates a wide spectrum of training grounds, to include special air space and coastal areas, allowing for a multitude of training conditions useful for supporting almost any training scenario.
