The Installation Personnel Administration Center opened the first "NCO Den" for its junior leaders at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Feb. 12, 2015. The purpose of the den is to provide the NCOs with a meeting place to develop strategies, share ideas and propagate best practices to better guide the junior Marines of IPAC. The family of Cpl. Robert Robles gathers for a photo after Robles’ promotion ceremony at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Aug. 5, 2014. Lt. Col. Ernest Henderson, Robles’ uncle, acted as the promoting officer during the ceremony, his last official duty before retirement. Robles is a third-generation Marine with a family history of Marine Corps service stretching back to the 1950s.
