MARINE CORPS AIR STATION CHERRY POINT, N.C. -- Maj. Gen. Jon M. Davis renews his military oath after being promoted to his new rank at his promotion ceremony outside of the Marine Attack Squadron 223's hangar Aug. 10. Davis is known as a hands-on leader and since taking command of 2nd MAW he has spent a lot of his time interacting with his new Marines throughout 2nd MAW.
