Job Title: KC-130J Crew chief

Hometown: Orlando, Fla.

Date Joined: March 13, 2007

What’s your job?

My job is to make sure the aircraft are good to go by performing maintenance and analysis pre-flight, during the flight and post-flight. I also troubleshoot any problems while in the air.

What’s your favorite part?

I absolutely love the flying part.

How does your job help Marines?

My job helps by providing a supporting role. We do a lot of transporting of equipment and personnel. The job is very important because if the KC-130s are not refueling aircraft, they would be able to stay in the air and complete their missions.

How do you support the mission of Cherry Point?

We help to support other squadrons by participating in training exercises with those units.
