U.S. Marines form Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Wing Support Squadrons 271 and 274, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) performed demolition procedures in protective equipment to destroy simulated chemical warfare agents at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, on Oct. 29, 2020. The training was conducted for the Marines to gain experience working in different types of gear and equipment. By conducting this training, Cherry Point’s EOD technicians ensure that they are ready to respond to any threat on base or out in the local communities.
