MAG-40, a Cherry Point based group comprised of seven squadrons, provided aviation support to MEB-Afghanistan during its deployment. More than 100 Marines and Sailors returned home to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point from a 12-month deployment to Afghanistan.
