MARINE CORPS AIR STATION CHERRY POINT, N.C. -- Marines from MarineLight Attack Helicopter Squadron 467 returned to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point April 1, after a deployment to the southern peninsula of Haiti.
HMLA-467 was attached to the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit for aid and support to the people of Haiti following the Jan. 12 earthquake.
“The first couple weeks we were here in January were pretty heavy,” said Staff Sgt. Jason M. Gray, the air frames division chief of HMLA-467. “We did a lot of pilot off-loads, including food and water.”
