CLC-21 Company First Sergeant
First Sergeant Travis A. Titopace

First Sergeant Tito-Pace is a native of Colorado. He graduated from Widefield High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2006. He enlisted in the Marine Corps and reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, CA in August of 2006. He was promoted to Private First Class upon graduation in November 2006. He then attended Marine Combat Training, Camp Pendleton, California in December 2006.  Upon completion of Marine Combat Training, he reported to Financial Management School in Camp Johnson, North Carolina. 

In March 2006, Private First Class Tito-Pace was assigned to the Disbursing Office of Combat Logistics Regiment (CLR) 27, Camp Lejeune, NC. In May 2005 Private First Class Tito-Pace was promoted to Lance Corporal. During this tour, Lance Corporal Tito-Pace served as a Reports Section Clerk and became the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC). 

In August 2008, Lance Corporal Tito-Pace was promoted to Corporal and detached from Marine Corps Base Disbursing to commence training for Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. In January 2009, he deployed to Iraq in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM 9.1. In October 2009, he returned from deployment back to CLR-27 Disbursing section.

In December 2009, Corporal Tito-Pace was diagnosed with Lymphoma and was sent to Duke University Hospital for treatment. He was at the hospital from January through July 2010. In June 2010, Corporal Tito-Pace was promoted to Sergeant. From October to November 2010 Sergeant Tito-Pace attended Advance Finance Course at Camp Johnson, North Carolina.

In February 2011 Sergeant Tito-Pace checked into CLR-1 Camp Pendleton and was slated to deploy to Bahrain in support of setting up a new US Military Base. The deployment was cancelled in September 2011, and he was then sent to Sergeant’s Course to complete his resident Professional Military Education. In January 2012, Sergeant Tito-Pace deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM until September 2012. Upon his return to Camp Pendleton, he was attached to the Internal Controls Section. In April 2013 Sergeant Tito-Pace attended the Martial Arts Instructor Trainer Course in Quantico, Virginia and graduated in May 2013.

In October 2013, Sergeant Titopace reported for duty to Drill Instructor School, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, CA. Upon completion of Drill Instructor School, he was attached to Company D, 1st Recruit Training Battalion.  During his tenure with Company D, Sergeant Titopace attended and graduated the Marine Corps Instructor of Water Survival (MCIWS) Course. In January 2015, Sergeant Tito-Pace was promoted to Staff Sergeant and reported for duty to Support Battalion to work with the Water Survival Section and assisted in running five MCWIS Courses with Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific (EWTGPAC) and getting certified as an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor making him a Marine Corps Instructor Trainer of Water Survival.  In July 2015, Staff Sergeant Tito-Pace was made the Staff Noncommissioned Officer in Charge (SNCOIC) of the Martial Arts Section and ran multiple Martial Arts Instructors Courses.

In January of 2016, Staff Sergeant Tito-Pace checked in to the Marine Corps Base Quantico Finance Office as the Travel Productions SNCOIC. In January 2018, he was moved to the Pay/Productions section to fill the SNOIC billet. September 2019 Staff Sergeant Tito-Pace was promoted to Gunnery Sergeant and remained as the SNOIC until January 2020. Upon detaching from the Quantico Finance Office, Gunnery Sergeant Tito-Pace received a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal.

In January 2020 GySgt Tito-Pace transferred to Training and Education Command (TECOM) within Force Fitness division as a program/policy owner as well as an IGMC inspector for all physical fitness programs for the Marine Corps. In August 2020, Gunnery Sergeant Tito-Pace attended the Force Fitness Instructor Course and graduated in October 2020 as a recipient of the Gung-Ho Award. During his time within the Force Fitness Division/Human Performance Branch, he attended classes at the University of Maryland in pursuit of a degree in Cyber Security.

In February 2024 Gunnery Sergeant Tito-Pace was promoted to the rank of First Sergeant and transferred to Combat Logistics Company 21 Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina where he currently serves and the Company First Sergeant.

First Sergeant Tito-Pace’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with one gold stars in lieu of 2nd award and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
