During the deployment, VMA-542 and Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 14 supported Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262, (Reinforced), the Aviation Combat Element of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit during its patrol of the Asia-Pacific region.
