Cherry Point Police and Fire/Emergency Medical Services will be providing candy screening stations from 6-8 p.m., Halloween Night, Oct. 31, in Nugent Cove (Alexander and Gates Road) and at the Grant's Landing Playground. McGruff the Crime Dog will join police officers and fire fighters and help with candy screening to make sure trick-or-treaters have a safe and enjoyable night. Community members are invited to stop in to say hello.
