Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point Images

Nov 1, 2018

U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Christopher Benfield, left, commanding officer of Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron (H&HS), runs with a group of Marines during the All Terrain Unit Competition on Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Oct. 26, 2018. The All Terrain Unit Competition is an annual event hosted by Cherry Point Marine Corps Community Services for Marines and Sailors on station to build camaraderie through friendly competition. Service members faced multiple physical and mental challenges throughout a 6 mile course, including being chased by Marine volunteers acting as zombies, provided by the Single Marine Program. If a competitor had their flag stolen by a zombie, time would be added to their team’s overall finishing time. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Micha R. Pierce)
