Col. (Ret.) Frank Bottorff reads a proclamation commemorating the 40th anniversary of the EA-6B Prowler. The proclamation recounted the history of the EA-6B Prowler to Marines assigned to various Marine Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadrons during a 40th anniversary commemoration ceremony held aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Feb. 17, 2017. The Prowler is a long-range, all-weather aircraft with advanced electronic countermeasures capability. The Prowler has served in conflicts ranging from Vietnam to Operation Enduring Freedom.
