Marines and North Carolina Girl Scouts gather for a photo in front of more than 7,000 boxes of cookies May 13 inside the Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 2 supply building during the Girl Scouts’ annual Operation Cookie Drop. Operation Cookie Drop is a program in which local Girl Scouts deliver cookies to military personnel from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, Fort Bragg and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. Out of the 82,164 boxes received this year, more than 7,000 boxes of cookies were delivered to the air station for the Marines and Sailors.
