During the annual Historic Uniform Pageant, Marines fully decked out in historical Marine Corps’ uniforms visited local schools allowing students the chance to see history in front of their own eyes. The pageant featured Marines in full garb from the Revolutionary War all the way to Operation Desert Storm.

244th Birthday Lunch

Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point hosted a luncheon in celebration of the upcoming 244th Marine Corps Birthday. Marines, Department of Defense employees, and other civilian contractors, along with their families, were invited to the chow hall to enjoy some birthday cuisine and cake.

190822-M-YO095-0002.JPG - Public Works Department will be conducting maintenance in the median on Slocum Road adjacent to the Fuel Depot, from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 26. There will be clearing of debris and installation of sod in the center island at that location. Traffic in the area will be directed through the unimproved dirt/gravel area to allow for the maintenance. It is advised that patrons try to avoid that area during the timeframe, and that commuters factor in the obstruction in traffic flow when planning trips. Pardon the inconvenience.
