Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point Veterinary Treatment Facility services all fur-covered military family members, both working and non-working animals alike. Although the main mission of the veterinary clinic is to provide yearly preventative medicine and deployment readiness checks for the Military Working Dogs (MWD), the clinic also services household cats and dogs. The clinic, which is open by appointment only, is available to all service members, their dependents, and veterans. The clinic provides regular check-ups, vaccinations, and health checks for permanent change of station, for both stateside and abroad.
