As you deck the halls this holiday season, make sure to be aware of the potential fire hazards. From 2016 to 2018, there were about 100 Christmas tree fires and about 1,100 candle fires during months of November and December each year. Even a small tree fire has potential to spread rapidly. To help prevent this, only artificial, fire retardant trees are allowed in government buildings and barracks.
