Meyer spoke to the Marines as the Marine Corps Community Services Transition Readiness Program prepares for the Hiring our Heroes Career Summit at the air station, which will be the largest career summit to date Oct. 4, 2019.
Approximately 50 companies and employers from around the United States attended the event and held interviews to hopefully connect service members, veterans and military spouses to nationwide employment opportunities. Transition Readiness Program is a Marine and Family support program geared towards strengthining quality of life. Hiring our Heroes is a U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation program that aims to connect veterans and their families with different job opportunities.
