Beginning Sept. 1, 2026, all for-hire food delivery drivers, including those working for services such as DoorDash, Grubhub and Uber Eats, must obtain a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) card to conduct food deliveries at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point and its outlying fields.

Drivers are encouraged to begin the DBIDS enrollment process as soon as possible to reduce interruptions and delays when attempting to complete deliveries at the installation.
For-hire rideshare drivers are encouraged to complete enrollment in DBIDS, as it will ease access to the installation for them as well.

To begin the enrollment process, delivery drivers should visit the DBIDS Global Pre-Enrollment website: https://dbids-global-enroll.dmdc.mil/preenrollui/#/landing-page. Complete the online application and provide all required forms, and when instructed to do so, report in-person to the MCAS Cherry Point Pass and ID Office.

Completing the enrollment process requires applicants to provide two valid, original forms of identification, complete a criminal background check, submit a company employment verification letter, and verify their Social Security number.
