There will be clearing of debris and installation of sod in the center island at that location. Traffic in the area will be directed through the unimproved dirt/gravel area to allow for the maintenance. It is advised that patrons try to avoid that area during the timeframe, and that commuters factor in the obstruction in traffic flow when planning trips. Pardon the inconvenience.

190909-M-YO095-0001.JPG - Cherry Point Police and Fire/Emergency Medical Services will be providing candy screening stations from 6-8 p.m., Halloween Night, Oct. 31, in Nugent Cove (Alexander and Gates Road) and at the Grant's Landing Playground. McGruff the Crime Dog will join police officers and fire fighters and help with candy screening to make sure trick-or-treaters have a safe and enjoyable night. Community members are invited to stop in to say hello.
