A seawall stands along the shores of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Nov. 5, 2020. This border protects the shoreline from erosion and storm damage. Since Hurricane Florence Cherry Point Environmental Affairs Department has been working to secure funding to repair the damage and make extensive long-lasting improvements to the shoreline’s design.
