U.S. Marines listen to a panel of Marines that have successfully completed a Special Duty Assignment (SDA) in the Marine Corps, during a Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron’s Lance Corporal Leadership and Ethics Seminar, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Dec. 12, 2019. The panel gave a brief description of what SDA they completed, as well as answered any questions the students had about SDA’s and the Marine Corps in general. Courses such as these allow Marines the opportunity to hear from senior leadership about various duty assignments and career development that have aided in their success.
