Tommy Gillikin, a mobile amphibious crane operator with the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, North Carolina, Range Management Department, completes paperwork at Bombing Target (BT) 11, an island used for target practice, Aug. 5, 2019. BT-11 is one of two bombing targets operated by the Range Management Department. While the bulk of the units that utilize the targets are from the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, other Department of Defense units, federal law enforcement agencies and even foreign allied militaries travel to MCAS Cherry Point’s ranges to train.
