MARINE CORPS AIR STATION CHERRY POINT, N.C. - Marines assigned to 2nd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion reclaim the 2017 Combined Federal Campaign Tug-of-War Tournament trophy at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Oct. 13, 2017. The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for others. 2nd LAAD Bn. has won the trophy in back-to-back years and only one other team has managed to accomplish that feat. 2nd LAAD Bn. is assigned to Marine Air Control Group 28, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.
