MARINE CORPS AIR STATION CHERRY POINT, N.C. - The Trojan Horsemen formation proves to be an unforgettable experience for patrons at the 2016 Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point Air Show – “Celebrating 75 Years” at MCAS Cherry Point, N.C., April 29, 2016. The Trojan Horsemen are a T-28 Warbird Formation Aerobatic Demo Team is the only six-ship T-28 Warbird formation demonstration team performing in the world today. This year’s air show celebrated MCAS Cherry Point and 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing’s 75th anniversary and is as much fun on the ground as it is in the air featuring 40 static displays, 17 aerial performers, as well as a concert.
