An HH-46E Sea Knight helicopter belonging to Marine Transport Squadron 1 sits on the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., flight line as the sun rises Oct. 14, 2014. The Marines of VMR-1 specialize in land and sea search and rescue and transport of military personnel. VMR-1 is the only squadron in the Marine Corps whose primary mission is SAR and is the last remaining Marine Corps squadron to fly the Sea Knight.
